We designed Mloupe AI for institutional manuscript pre-review. Academic drafts are sensitive; we process them only to deliver the Service.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:
- Account data: name, work email, institution name, role, password hashes or Google account identifiers if you sign in with Google.
- Billing and credit records: prepaid balances, payment references, and related correspondence.
- Manuscripts and outputs: files you upload, annotated reviews, and diagnostic metadata needed to run the pipeline.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser type, timestamps, and security events needed to operate and protect the Service.
- Support messages: emails or chat you send to our team.

We use information to:
- Provide accounts, authentication, uploads, AI analysis, and downloads.
- Apply prepaid credits and manage Partner arrangements.
- Send transactional notices (verification, review ready, security alerts) according to your preferences where applicable.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
4. Manuscripts and confidentiality
Manuscript content is used solely to generate annotations and to operate related quality checks (including cryptographic fingerprinting and multi-agent verification).
We do not use your manuscript text to train public foundation models for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell or publish your drafts.
Access to live manuscript storage is restricted to systems and personnel needed to run and support the Service.
5. Retention and deletion
Uploaded manuscripts and annotated review files are automatically deleted from active storage within 7–14 days after delivery, unless a longer retention is required for an active support or abuse investigation, or by law.
Account, billing, and audit records may be kept longer as needed for accounting, security, and legal compliance.
You may request account closure or correction of account details by contacting us.
6. Processors and transfers
We use trusted infrastructure providers (for example cloud hosting and object storage) to run Mloupe AI. They process data on our instructions.
AI analysis may involve carefully controlled calls to third-party model providers under contractual protections. Only content required for the review is sent.
Data may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We take steps appropriate to the sensitivity of academic manuscripts.
7. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and operational practices aimed at protecting accounts and files.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use strong passwords and protect institutional credentials.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use session cookies and similar technologies necessary for login, language preference, and security. We do not use advertising trackers on the Service.
9. Your choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal account data, subject to legal exceptions (for example fraud prevention or accounting records).
